Here is a very good article by Mariam, who writes as the general of the Green Bean army, whatever that means to anyone! Anyway, Mariam, I can't even recall what you call your army because that's not important to me.

But, the country needs to see a change that we all have yearned for. We continue to be plagued by all sorts of politicians - from frogs to toads, buaya and the sharks, the hypocrites and the Judases.

The question is not how the Chinese or the Indians vote. BN knows well that the Chinese and Indians are not important. We have our fair share of bad MPs and State Assemblymen, yet we all know which coalition to vote although we will snub the underperforming or snobbish politicians.

The important question is how the Malays and the East Malaysians vote. And if anyone can translate Mariam's article into Malay, that would be great. It would be great for Malaysiakini to provide the Malay version and make it available for free reading.

It is time for our fellow Malaysians to stand up for a new Malaysia. Those of us who vote for Pakatan Harapan must still chastise the bad MPs and State Assemblymen, instead of being blind supporters. There is no free lunch for these 'snobbish,' 'syok sendiri' MPs and State Assemblymen, because they know the people will snub them, too.

By snubbing them, they will hopefully learn to be more humble and go down to the ground when there is an issue. Former Kepong MP Dr Tan Seng Giaw and even the current MP, Lim Lip Eng earn their Yang Berhormat not only by getting themselves elected but because they know what it means to be with the people.

Aduan Sifar: Tauladan Dato' Zahri Samingon menerajui Aduan Sifar untuk MBPJ perlu dicontohi oleh Yang DIPertua Majlis-majlis lain

Saya amat kagum dengan Datuk Bandar Petaling Jaya, Dato’ Zahri Samingon.
