Saifuddin Abdullah, please stop the crap and work harder

I have earlier written a piece chastising Malaysian foreign minister who said that "some job scam victims in Cambodia have refused to return home despite the government’s efforts to rescue them."

If not, I would urge every Malaysian to snub him, because he has failed to place the safety of the young people who were smuggled into Cambodia as human slaves.

Another article in Free Malaysia Today, "Laos folk dig tunnel, help Malaysians escape from syndicate" has clearly shown that the people of Laos have more humanity than Saifuddin himself.

Even though these Malaysians are hardly known to them, they have risked their own lives digging up the tunnels across the border into Cambodia just to help these Malaysians to escape the job scam syndicate.

We will have to hear from the eight Malaysians who returned safely to find out how many more Malaysians are still held by the syndicate. I am sure it is not difficult to locate the place where they are placed or for the Cambodian police to track these job syndicates down.
I would like to ask if the minister himself has gone to Cambodia to coordinate the rescue of these fellow Malaysians himself, or if he is only interested in keeping his job with the general election round the corner.

This question should be raised by the voters in Indera Mahkota where Saifuddin is currently the member of parliament.

The former Umno elected representative in Temerloh lost to PAS, and had to contest under PKR ticket in Indera Mahkota where he won with a big margin against both Umno and Pas candidates, should make it a point to travel to the site where these Malaysians are held.

I am sure that the Cambodian government would provide all the necessary support when a fellow ASEAN minister has taken the trouble to travel to the country to show that he is serious about the job scam victims.

There is no point showing that he means business by urging the global community "to take stronger action to tackle the crisis triggered in Myanmar by last year’s coup d’etat," when he could not even rescue fellow Malaysians who are still trapped in Cambodia.
