Two Good MPs
Here are another two good Members of Parliament, whose stories I will tell the whole world. Please help to viral this.
What these two did quietly, it has to be broadcast anyway at a time when they need our support the most. Both will win in their constituencies undoubtedly; nevertheless, their good deeds must be known to all.
As I am a persistent guy when it comes to solving problems, I had to ask Hannah Yeoh to help the case of a stateless girl, since Lim was no longer Segambut Member of Parliament.
After Yeoh was elected, she did what her predecessor, Lim Lip Eng was doing to help her constituent who was stateless and suffering from Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
On behalf of the family, she immediately followed up the case with the Minister of Home Affairs. Later, when the child turned 13, I told her about that she was no longer covered under the Financial Act.
Yeoh immediately wrote to the newly minted Minister of Health, but unfortunately, the Spanish fly did not even bother to respond or lift his little finger to help despite Yeoh bringing this one case up in parliament.
To me, it showed that this case of her constituent mattered to her.
Now, even though Lim had moved to Kepong, he was still doing whatever he could to help the case. When I wanted to organise a press interview, and Yeoh was unable to attend, Lim agreed to stand in.
What more can I say about these two Members of Parliament? They are from the DAP, and I have been whacking some within the hierarchy lately for their inaction and aloofness.
