My toes started laughing when I read speculation that PAS and UMNO could work together in the next general election. The pact forged during the Johor state election flies in the face of political reality. The pact will not only be rejected by non-Muslims but also Umno supporters who cannot accept Pas’s excesses in using religion to gain political mileage where convenient.   KTMB E-Ticketing Issues Need Urgent Attention After winning my case at the Consumers' Tribunal on July 22, 2026,  I wish to highlight ongoing concerns regarding KTMB's e-ticketing system and urge the Minister  of  Transport , Anthony Loke  to pay close attention to these issues to ensure that rail passengers are not subjected to unnecessary  i nconvenience and financial losses. Malaysia has made significant progress in digitalising public transport services, and KTMB's ticketing platform is intended to provide commuters with a seamless and convenient travel experience. However, when  the shortcomings of the  e-ticketing system, consumers  especially senior citizens  can find themselves  encountering isuses in  purchasing tickets, access bookings, obtain refunds, or receive timely assistance when problems arise.
