Caution your young people!

From my friend Charles, an observer of Malaysian politics and global geopolitics:

The key point is that the Swatch range of watches come in a choice of the six colours of the gay pride flag a.k.a. the rainbow flag, which overall is intended to provide corporate endorsement of the LGBTQ+ lifestyle.

"This year, we are celebrating Pride with a vivid collection of watches inspired by the iconic Pride flag. Each watch appears in one of the bold colors that make up the flag and features a symmetrical seconds hand symbolizing equality. Two rainbow loops bring the colors together to celebrate the unity and diversity that make our society – and Swatch – so strong."

Wikipedia describes the Rainbow Flag:-

"The rainbow flag, also known as the gay pride flag or simply pride flag, is a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride and LGBT social movements. The colors reflect the diversity of the LGBT community and the spectrum of human sexuality and gender. Using a rainbow flag as a symbol of gay pride began in San Francisco, California, but eventually became common at LGBT rights events worldwide."

Meanwhile, over in Canada:-

As Pride flags are once again targeted, 2SLGBTQ advocates say it's as important as ever to fly them

Note that it usually is the people of rural parts of Canada who tend to be more conservative than those in the urban areas, and who more strongly object to such flags on their public buildings.

Likewise in Malaysia, the key point in all this is that corporations such as Swatch are subtly going against something which is not widely accepted in Malaysia for religious, cultural or whatever reasons, instead of showing respect for the values and sentiments of the Malaysian population, and it is only a handful of largely urban-based "progressive" radicals who push such values upon people.

--------------------------------------------

The issue is not about people who are LGBTQ+ in private, just as most people keep their heterosexual affairs private.

Instead, it is about some seemingly nefarious radical-liberal agenda coming out of North America in particular which promotes the LGBTQ+ lifestyle through public gay pride parades, Pride campaigns such as that by Swatch and other commercial brands.

There is a history behind this Pride thing which traces back to the Stonewall pub, club or whatever in the US, where a gay party was raided by the police and the gays fought back.

This history needs to be researched more thoughroughly.

We also need to look behind who are funding domestic Malaysian advocates of the radical-liberal LGBTQ+ lifestyle, and you will mostly find "democracy", "human rights", "freedom", etc NGOs funded by the US-imperialist NED, it's subsidiaries such as the IRI, the NDI, Soros organisations, Germany-based foundations (stiftung), USAID and so forth.

Some of radical-liberal NGO-types regard themselves as "leftist", "socialist", "Marxist-Leninist", some are Anarchists or Trotskyite, when it is rather funny that they are gladly accepting funds from agencies and entities closely associated with capitalist-imperialist governments of the most predatory, aggressive and warmongering capitalist-imperialist countries in the world.

My heart will go on

It must be at least twenty years ago when I first encountered Malaysia’s very own Stevie Wonder, Colin Ng Soon Beng. It was during Chinese New Year, at the home of a mutual friend. Colin was only about ten years old then. His mother introduced him to me as a “special child.” She said, “Pick a song. We’ll play it for Colin to listen, and he will play it back for you.” I chose My Heart Will Go On from Titanic. To this day, Colin still remembers that it was the song he played for me. Born with multiple disabilities, Colin’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Being visually impaired, he could not learn music the way most children do. Yet God blessed him with an extraordinary gift: a razor-sharp ear. He could identify the brand of a photocopier or the model of a car simply by hearing its sound. His mother, Janet, devoted her life to nurturing his talent. After losing her husband when Colin was 24, she became not only a mother but also a father figure, chauffeur, and companion in ...

DALAM EMPAT BAHASA/ IN FOUR LANGUAGES/在四种语言中/ நான்கு மொழிகளில்: A Piece of Good News Worth Celebratinng
