Let this be a lesson to all PH politicians

I repeat her statement:

"Not all who enter politics hv altruistic values. The earlier ones  sacrificed a lot but the newer ones be they old or young have sights on the perks. Not to help rakyat or to change or better the system . Most ahli majlis act as if they are employees of local councils. Some collude with the staff to gain for themselves. Sad."

I received this Whatsapp post from a state assemblyman whom, in my opinion, became a politician because she wanted to serve the nation.

Coming from an older generation, he understands the meaning of ALTRUISM, but it is unfortunate that a number of young people appointed by Damansara MP, Tony Pua, for example, are pretty looking lasses and slightly good looking guys, but when it comes to serving the people, they fail miserably.

The older ones think of the perks that come along with the positions. Service is no longer on their minds although they are always claiming to be serving the people.

I was just giving an example of what YB Lim Lip Eng did during Covid-19 pandemic as an example of altruism OR previously, what YB Dr Tan Seng Giaw would do whenever we SMS him a complaint about clogged drain. And, look at the response from Tony Pua's councillor he appointed. This is why people are not happy with the later batch of political appointments. This councillor had the cheek of asking, "Bro...why tan (referring to Seng Giaw) or Ah Seng (presumably referring to Lip Eng)."

What disappoints me the most is that even the people within the hierarchy are not interested to guide the new kids on the block how to behave. Recently, I was surprised that even the senior people from PH, for example, do not even care. They have the right to remain silent when arrested but, not when their people fail to deliver.

        I rest my case.
