Oh, I didn't know Malaysians face travel bans across many countries!

THIS video has been circulated around so many times that it has reached me at least twice after it was first shared on social media.

If you have received this video talking about why Malaysians are facing travel bans and restrictions (so called in 2025), you have been fooled. If you do not believe me, check the Star:  https://www.thestar.com.my/news/true-or-not/2025/03/25/quickcheck-have-new-visa-restrictions-been-imposed-on-malaysians-travelling-abroad The reporter has also checked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The video was already around since 2023 or 2024 as far as I remember.

The way to deal with this kind of video is to just ignore it. Exercise some critical thinking to evaluate whether the video holds any truth. Ask yourself these questions:

  • Who produced this video?
  • Why is it produced?
  • Who has all the time in the world to create a video of this kind?
  • Why only featuring the Malaysian passport?

I don't know who produced the video myself, but I can tell you it is RUBBISH. For example,
Australia does not have too many restrictions for Malaysian passports. They are only concerned with some Malaysians who enter Australia to work illegally.

I have relatives and friends who travel to Australia very often. No issue at all. In fact, I asked another friend of mine who works with the Australian High Commission, and she confirmed that the Australian Immigration does not have any restrictions on the Malaysian passport.

As for the rest of the video, you can just delete it. Why then has someone so much time to produce a video like this UNLESS he is paid to do the job to discredit Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim?

Every other thing that is being played up now has one objective: to topple Anwar because they know that sooner or later, they will be pursued by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

So, the final question, "Why only featuring the Malaysian passport?" especially since video is produced as though it is a documentary is obvious now.

If I were you, I would just delete it. Do not subscribe to the modern Surat Layang (the numerous posts on Social Media) which was the work of a former rabble rouser back in the 1960s, which led to social unrest, and eventually, our Bapa Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Petra Al-Haj was pressured to step down.

Since then, the same modus operandi has been used against Tunku Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and others. Use some common sense and learn to be discerning Malaysians.

IN ALL FOUR LANGUAGES: Ampun Tuanku, Kerajaan Madani sekarang dalam pandangan saya…

My text is in Malay, but the text in English, Mandarin and Tamil below is provided by Artificial Intelligence.”

My heart will go on

It must be at least twenty years ago when I first encountered Malaysia’s very own Stevie Wonder, Colin Ng Soon Beng. It was during Chinese New Year, at the home of a mutual friend. Colin was only about ten years old then. His mother introduced him to me as a “special child.” She said, “Pick a song. We’ll play it for Colin to listen, and he will play it back for you.” I chose My Heart Will Go On from Titanic. To this day, Colin still remembers that it was the song he played for me. Born with multiple disabilities, Colin’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Being visually impaired, he could not learn music the way most children do. Yet God blessed him with an extraordinary gift: a razor-sharp ear. He could identify the brand of a photocopier or the model of a car simply by hearing its sound. His mother, Janet, devoted her life to nurturing his talent. After losing her husband when Colin was 24, she became not only a mother but also a father figure, chauffeur, and companion in ...

DALAM EMPAT BAHASA/ IN FOUR LANGUAGES/在四种语言中/ நான்கு மொழிகளில்: A Piece of Good News Worth Celebratinng
