How to analyse the news to understand what is happening in the country

This is how from my own observation of various media, I carry out an independent analysis to understand what is happening in the country. You can do the same:

1) the country is in such a deplorable state that it will be impossible to turn things around overnight.

Every move by any well-meaning person will get heckled, or stabbed on the back.

2) You can see this pattern in

(a) investigation into Teoh Beng Hock's case were Anwar on one hand made an effort to meet Teoh Beng Hock's family to convey his intentions to get to the bottom of the case, but investigation carried out by Shuhaily Mohd Zain from CID was focused on the family of the victim, instead of the few MACC officers. To me, it was clearly a smack in the face of Anwar.

(b) similarly, in the case of Fahmi Reza, someone in PDRM apparently had blocked his exit from the country to the point that the IGP had to openly apologise. Stern actions should be taken against such an officer who put the block. It has happened before to others; the apology comes too late as Fahmi is now planning to sue the government.

(c) Rafizi complained that some of his supporters were also being intimidated, and he stated that he believes it's not an instruction from either Anwar or Fahmi (Communications minister).

3) Why is this happening? If you look at the attacks on PMX, they come from all corners.

Some are misled; others are continuing to spew out toxicity. In recently years, I notice that many of the things that were circulating in the social media were well-written pieces, most probably by retired journalists.

Are they aligned to the old fox? Are they paid by him or his associate who has just passed on? I don't have the answer, but if you look at the key people's facebook account, you can conclude this yourself.

Check out, for example, a former headhoncho of an English daily is probably one of the old man's pawns. Just check out his Facebook account. Practically every day, he has something to spew out against the Madani government. WHY DO YOU THINK THIS IS  HAPPENING?

4) Very likely it is due to the efforts to reform the country's landscape. This Os an attempt to push back efforts by the MACC which has stepped up its anti-corruption campaign covering all strata of society and hierarchy.

They have to be selective, otherwise, out prisons would be packed with people. All they need to do is to send a strong warning to everyone: We will go after you if you continue with your corrupt practices.

Even corporate CEOs, project directors, enforcement personnel in Immigrations, Customs, etc are being charged. Syndicates including sale of babies, fake ICs, birth certificates, sale of subsidised diesel to two neighbouring countries, are dismantled.

5) the country is going through a transition. If we as ordinary Malaysians do not stay on course, whatever reforms ae we wanted to see in Malaysia after removing corrupt regimes in the past, everything will be lost.

If the country reverts to the past regime, these politicians will continue to whallop more money and do it openly. Just looking at one former prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob is sufficient to prove my point.

IN ALL FOUR LANGUAGES: Ampun Tuanku, Kerajaan Madani sekarang dalam pandangan saya…

My text is in Malay, but the text in English, Mandarin and Tamil below is provided by Artificial Intelligence.”

My heart will go on

It must be at least twenty years ago when I first encountered Malaysia’s very own Stevie Wonder, Colin Ng Soon Beng. It was during Chinese New Year, at the home of a mutual friend. Colin was only about ten years old then. His mother introduced him to me as a “special child.” She said, “Pick a song. We’ll play it for Colin to listen, and he will play it back for you.” I chose My Heart Will Go On from Titanic. To this day, Colin still remembers that it was the song he played for me. Born with multiple disabilities, Colin’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Being visually impaired, he could not learn music the way most children do. Yet God blessed him with an extraordinary gift: a razor-sharp ear. He could identify the brand of a photocopier or the model of a car simply by hearing its sound. His mother, Janet, devoted her life to nurturing his talent. After losing her husband when Colin was 24, she became not only a mother but also a father figure, chauffeur, and companion in ...

DALAM EMPAT BAHASA/ IN FOUR LANGUAGES/在四种语言中/ நான்கு மொழிகளில்: A Piece of Good News Worth Celebratinng
