After 30 years of writing, questioning, and advocating for change, recognition finally came from a Very Important Person, who sent me a message of encouragement that I will never forget. I felt very humbled when someone of his stature took time to write this message to me:

I must say this one short WhatsApp message which I received is what motivated me to finally put together a simple book to share my own journey that will hopefully encourage more people to discover their own potential to be reform our society to make Malaysia a better place for the next generation of Malaysians. To me, this book is like a finale at the tail end of my life — after all, how many more ten years do I still get to live? For me, everything that I do is for the sake of the future generation of Malaysians.
